Cancellation conditions

It is your responsibility to take into account our cancellation policy at the time of booking. Before booking your stay with us, make sure you know your dates and travel plans. Once we have agreed to keep the house free for you, we will reject all incoming requests for your booked period. Short-term cancellations of the Kaakberg have major consequences for us. That is why we have a strict and clear policy.

Deposit

For all reservations/bookings made by telephone, email or online, a deposit of 50% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking. The rest of the rent must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. The booking is guaranteed as soon as the deposit is received.

Cancellations

  1. For all cancellations 25 euros will be charged.
  2. Refund: Refund of the deposit will be made if cancellation is received at least 42 days prior to arrival.
  3. Early Departures: Although we sympathize with unforeseen circumstances, the house will no longer be available for rental after check-in, therefore no refunds will be made.
  4. We assume that you have taken out travel/cancellation insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellations due to Corona

Because the travel/cancellation insurance usually does not reimburse costs caused by Corona, we have an adjusted policy for this. The Kaakberg is 'Corona proof', which means that you can come and stay here with peace of mind, because we adhere to the local rules and expect the same from our guests. If you have booked and you are unexpectedly unable to come, because you yourself are infected and have to remain in quarantine (with a doctor's certificate) or due to a ban and a suddenly changed Corona policy in the Netherlands, or in the country where you are today, we offer you a VOUCHER that you can use for the next two seasons. We assume that you are familiar with the rules or the expected announced rules in your country. The conditions and validity are clearly stated on the voucher.
For example, if you have booked a week with 4 people in July, the high season, you can come again with 4 people for the same price in the next two years for the same price. The number of people remains the same and the season (high, medium, or low) must also be the same. This also applies if the night prices have been increased for new guests. If you want to come with more people or in a 'higher' season, you have to pay extra, in accordance with the current price.

Country & Lake is a very private place for rest and relaxation. You may receive visitors, but accommodation and use of the sauna and spa are exclusively reserved for our registered guests.

Sobald wir vereinbart haben, that Haus für Sie frei zu halten, were all eingehenden Anfragen für Ihren gebuchten Zeitraum ablehnen. Kurzfristige Stornierungen vom Kaakberg haben erhebliche Konsequenzen für uns. Deshalb haben wir eine stern und clear Politik.

Anzahlung

For all Reservierungen / Buchungen, which are requested by telephone, e-mail or online, will be zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung eine Anzahlung von 50% des Gesamtbetrags berechnet. Der Rest der Miete muss 6 Wochen vor Anreise bezahlt were. Die Buchung ist guarantyrt, sobald that Anzahlung ist eingegangs.

Stornierungen

  1. All Stornierungen were paid with 25 Euro.
  2. Rückerstattung: Die Anzahlung wird zurückerstattet, wenn die Stornierung mindentens 42 Tage vor Anreise eingeht.
  3. Vorzeitige Abreise: Obwohl wir mit unvorhergesehenen Umständen einverstellen sind, cann that Haus nach dem Check-in nicht mehr be gemietet, daher erfolgt keine Rückerstattung.
  4. Wir gehen davon aus, that Sie für unvorhergesehene Umstände eine Reise- / Stornoversicherung abgeschlossen haben.

Stornierungen aufgrund von Corona

Da die Reise- / Stornoversicherung in der Regel keine von Corona verursachten Costs erstattet, haben wir hier für eine angepasste Police.
